My name is Wendy Rios and

I'm an artist.

My work is rooted in movement, across places, materials, and ideas. I was born in California, and grew up in Kearney, Nebraska. I now live and work in Chicago, Illinois. From California to Nebraska and then Illinois, each environment has left an impression on how I see and create. I make pieces that explore texture and color in a range of materials.
